Villa Merighi is a certified organic farm for over twenty years.

The estate, including an ancient villa with its courtyard and the surrounding vineyards, is located in San Giorgio in Salici, in the province of Verona, on the morainic hills of Lake Garda.

As part of the OPEN DAY of Educational Farms in Veneto that will be held on the 14th of October 2018, Villa Merighi offers an experience aimed at food and environmental education, the promotion of organic farming, the protection of the landscape as well as the dissemination of knowledge of the territory.

A journey of taste will be presented following the thread of the discovery of three DOC wines: Bianco di Custoza, Bardolino Chiaretto and Bardolino, understanding their history over the territory and over time.

The journey offered includes the following scenarios:

• THE VINEYARD, vitis vinifera from the botanical description, its life cycle, brief history, the principle of organic viticulture, description of the work in the vineyard, the harvest and the main winery operations.
• KNOWLEDGE of the wines, of our territory, its typicality, work and passion of the people who live there.
• TASTING of the organic white DOC wines of Custoza, Chiaretto, Bardolino.

The visits are upon reservation (http://www.villamerighi.it/visite-ed-eventi/) and are free of charge. The farm will be open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Villa Merighi attending the event "Biologic" that will be held on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of October 2018 in Verona at the Arsenale.

Villa Merighi will take part to the event "Vino in Castello" that will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July 2018 (opening hours from 18.00 to 23.00) in Mozambano (MN). 

Villa Merighi will take part to the event "Vignaioli in Castello" that will be held on the 17th of June 2018 (opening hours from 10.00 to 20.00) in Desenzano. 

Villa Merighi won the gold medal with its Bardolino Chiaretto DOC during the wine competition “Palio del Chiaretto 2018”.

Villa Merighi will take part to the event Ombre e cicchetti on Sunday 20th of May starting from 11:00 AM. The event will be held by 5 shops of Piazza della Vittoria, Sona.
